Manchester City have arguably the most in-form frontline in world football right now. The Sky Blues have won nine games on the bounce heading into their Champions League meeting with Napoli, netting 34 times in the process.
However, Partenopei are also in stellar form at present, sitting top of Serie A after eight games.The visitors have also found the net in 27 consecutive games, but they aren’t infallible.
Maurizio Sarri’s side lost 2-1 away to Shakhtar Donetsk in last month’s UCL meeting. That’s in contrast to the Citizens’ continental fortunes, with comfortable wins over Shakhtar and Feyenoord so far.

Sterling can prove crucial yet again
While City’s fantastic recent form has been a team effort, a few players have stood out above the rest. One of those is Raheem Sterling.

Citizens’ strong starts bode well for backers
During their nine-game winning run, fans of the North-West giants have had few reasons for nerves. While they left it very late to win at AFC Bournemouth, that’s been the exception to the rule.
In five of the eight games since, the Sky Blues have led by the half-hour mark, with Guardiola’s charges already 3-0 up by that stage in Saturday’s clash against Stoke City.
As for Napoli, they’ve conceded within the opening 30 minutes during four of the last nine games. That means Result After 30 Minutes: Man City looks a value bet at 33/20.
