Bet of the day: Man City to draw with PSG in Champions League

Coral bet of the day
- Only 18 per cent of teams that have drawn 2-2 at home in the first leg of a Champions League game have gone on to progress
- The two previous encounters between Manchester City and PSG both ended evenly
- Man City have drawn four of their last nine games in 90 minutes
Man City and PSG 13/5 to draw in testing tie
The two previous encounters between Manchester City and PSG both ended in draws and this tie could certainly go the same way, making a splitting of spoils in their Champions League quarter-final second leg a cracking bet of the day to back.
After City’s sublime fight back for a 2-2 draw in Paris the Sky Blues should look to shut up shop and deny PSG a sniff of goal. Thanks to their away strikes, a 0-0 or 1-1 draw, or any victory, will be enough to take Manuel Pellegrini’s side through.
City have drawn four of their last nine games in 90 minutes and Coral have the Citizens at 13/5 to end evenly in normal time with their Parisian quarter-final opponents again.
If the Citizens make it into the last four, they will be only the second Premier League side – after Chelsea in 2014 – to reach that stage of the competition since 2012. Though, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero firing on all cylinders, we fancy their chances.
PSG face tough task
The Parisians have been knocked out of the Champions League at this stage for the last three years and face an uphill battle to overcome their Mancunian hosts on the road.
Just 18 per cent of teams drawing 2-2 at home in the first-leg of a Champions League game have gone on to progress to the next round. To make the task even harder, PSG boss Laurent Blanc will be without vital defensive player David Luiz and crucial midfielder Blaise Matuidi for the game, with the par suspended.
Away goals by dangerous De Bruyne and Fernandinho mean that Pellegrini’s men have an excellent chance of qualifying for the last four. City will also be boosted by the electric form of Aguero, who has 23 goals in all appearances this season.
