Coral’s bet of the day

  • Lacazette has struck four in five career appearances against Nice
  • The Lyon forward has hit six in his past five
  • Les Gones’ goal machine bagged a brace against this opposition last term

Lacazette 10/3 to be on target first against Nice

Coral cross the Channel for the latest cracking bet of the day, as Ligue 1 giants Lyon host Nice at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais with just two points between them.

France forward Alexandre Lacazette and his lethal right foot are a tempting 10/3 to strike first for Lyon in this fray, and there are plenty of reasons why this Friday night French punt is worth a wager.

Read on to find out why you should seek a flutter on the Les Gones Gallic goal gobbler for the opener…

Lacazette likes playing against the Eaglets

The stats certainly support striker Lacazette, as the net threat has been far from nice against Nice, with four fearsome finishes in his five career appearance against the Eaglets.

Lyon currently sit second in Ligue 1, and are seeking to cement a Champions League spot, making this scuffle with Nice a crucial clash.

Cote d’Azur club Nice are placed fourth and have conceded three more goals while scoring four less than their upcoming hosts. While, Les Gones should be confident of their strikeforce scoring, as they have not drawn a blank since February and have only failed to notch past Nice once in their past 11 meetings.

France foward in fine form

Lacazette certainly looks most likely to score, having dispatched a double past the Eaglets last campaign, and he is currently in the type of form which could see him selected for hosts France’s squad at Euro 2016, with Karim Benzema recently ruled out of the running.

The fierce French frontman is second top Ligue 1 scorer, having lashed home 16 times, and is behind only Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the domestic dangerman pecking order. While, Lacazette has terrifically scored six times in his previous five outings, making those 10/3 odds for him to be first on target more than a little tempting.
