Coral’s bet of the day

- Belgium looked far from their best these finals
- First two of three last 16 clashes went to extra-time
Hungary and Belgium draw in 90 mins at 5/2
Hungary and Belgium meet in the sixth last 16 match at Euro 2016, with the duo set to battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals where they’ll meet Wales.
It is from this duel that Coral have picked our Sunday bet of the day, with odds of 5/2 on the duo drawing in 90 minutes, to force the tie into extra-time.
Read on to find out why you should back this tasty price…
Surprise Group F winners Hungary come into this clash on the back of two straight draws, against Iceland and Portugal, both of which are still in the competition, and are perhaps the success story of the finals so far.
The National Eleven have shown great desire and teamwork to reach this stage, and can certainly put up a battle against the Belgians too.
Hungary to take Red Devils all the way
Despite being number two in the FIFA rankings, Belgium have once again not lived up to the hype when it matters most, after finishing second in their Group E.
Marc Wilmots’ Red Devils were completely outclassed by Italy, while only just scraped past Sweden, who managed only one point from their three games.
On top of that, it has been a nervy start to the last 16 this competition, as two of the first three matches at this stage has gone to extra-time at least. Poland edged Switzerland on penalties, while Portugal grabbed a late goal in the 126th minute to knock out Croatia. In the other tie, Wales left it late to see off fellow Home Nation Northern Ireland.
The last time Hungary and Belgium played in a major tournament, the 1982 World Cup, they battled out a draw, so back the same outcome here again.
