Coral’s bet of the day
- France’s Dimitri Payet has been in sublime form this season
- The playmaker netted 12 times in all competitions for West Ham
- Payet has also been on target in his last two France outings
- Les Bleus have won their previous three games with Payet in their side
Payet 2/1 to strike anytime
Euro 2016 is less than a week away, and ahead of a hopeful campaign on their home patch, France will contest Gordon Strachan’s Scotland tonight in Metz as they conclude their preparations for the finals.

Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus, therefore, have one more chance to showcase their credentials and help secure a starting spot for the tournament opener against Romania, with Dimitri Payet 2/1 to net anytime past the Scots as Coral’s bet of the day.
The West Ham United playmaker enjoyed an impressive season at club level, starring for Slaven Bilic’s Hammers in the Premier League before they said farewell to Upton Park, and has converted that emphatic form onto the international stage at a key time in his career.
Payet to pounce on Scots
Payet looked set to be overlooked by Deschamps for the home tournament but the Hammers attacker’s dynamic displays simply could not be ignored, as he was called up and took his opportunity in style, having since become instrumental.

The 29-year-old struck 12 times across all fronts for West Ham in a superb season and has performed brilliantly recently for his country, having dispatched in his last two appearances against both Russia and Cameroon.
Scotland of course failed to reach the finals this summer and they will come into this friendly meeting on the back of a defeat to Italy, while France have won eight of their last nine matches, with their only defeat coming to England last November.
Payet has proved his importance within the French ranks, as his nation have won all three previous Euro 2016 warm-up friendlies, including beating the Netherlands, and his odds of 2/1 to add another goal against Scotland are well worth taking this Saturday night!
