Coral’s bet of the day

  • Duo have drawn three of last four meetings
  • Point is enough for hosts France to top group
  • Swiss drew last time out with Romania

France and Switzerland draw at 2/1

Neighbours France and Switzerland meet in their final Euro 2016 Group A game, with both looking to secure first place and a spot in the knockout rounds of the tournament.

It is from this clash that Coral have picked out our bet of the day for Sunday, with odds of 2/1 on the duo battling out a draw.

Read on to find out why you should take this tempting price…

Coming into this encounter, tournament hosts France have scraped wins in both of their previous matches over Romania and Albania, but now come up against tougher opposition in the Swiss.

La Nati, meanwhile, drew last time out with the Albanians, and need just a point to secure second place.

Draw suits both French and Swiss

A draw would suit France too, as they currently sit two points ahead of Switzerland at the top of the group, and that’s where they’d finish – no matter the result in the other game.

On top of all that, Les Bleus and La Nati have shared the spoils in three of their last four head-to-heads at senior international level, all of which were in competitive meetings. One of which included a 0-0 draw in the 2006 World Cup finals.

Their overall meetings come close too, with the French having won 16 times to the Swiss’ 12, while they have drawn on nine other occasions.

So, what are you waiting for punters? Back this brilliantly priced bet now for France and Switzerland to draw at 2/1, to reap rewards!
