After a difficult start to the season, Deportivo La Coruna have turned a corner. Pepe Mel’s side have taken seven points from their last four games, and are on course for another three when Girona visit on Monday night.
Blanquivermell have taken just two points from their previous six league games. Their last game was a home defeat to mid-table Villarreal, who were 2-0 up inside 20 minutes at the Montilivi.
Things are unlikely to improve for them at Deportivo’s Riazor. Girona have managed a solitary point from their previous three visits to this venue, suffering a 5-1 mauling back in 2011.

The previous three occasions where Riazor has hosted this fixture has also seen Depor enjoy a 3-2 victory and 5-1 rout of Girona. Another high-scoring triumph for Mel’s men looks good value, with Deportivo to Win and Both Teams to Score priced up at 16/5.
