2015 ATP World Tour Finals

Coral have cut Roger Federer’s odds of winning the 2015 ATP World Tour Finals to 5/2 (from 7/2) after his sensational straight sets victory over top tennis pro Novak Djokovic.
While this is not the most shocking of tennis upsets, it does crank up the pressure on the Serbian as he plays Tomas Berdych to round off Group Stan Smith.
Swiss sporting legend and all-time Grand Slam great Federer, meanwhile, meets Kei Nishikori, and the Japanese tennis ace still has a chance of progressing to the semi-finals.

Fantastic Federer is 2-1 up on nifty Nishikori in hard court meetings, and the ATP World Tour Finals take place on this surface. One of those victories for the veteran Swiss came in straight sets at last year’s edition.
Nishikori needs to win this match after being blitzed by Djokovic in his group opener, but is a big 4/1 outsider to do so. As the eighth and lowest ranked seed, however, he could be staring down the barrel.
Opponent Federer is already through, however, so it all rests on how much the six-time ATP World Tour Finals champion is keeping in reserve for the knockout phase.

When you hold a 17-0 head-to-head on hard courts like Djokovic does over Czech Republic player Berdych, there should be only one winner.
Serbian racket star Djokovic is a massive odds-on 1/16 favourite to respond to that straight sets loss to Federer by beating Berdych.
Making a case for the sixth seed is very tough indeed. Berdych has taken just one set off Djokovic in four previous meetings at the ATP World Tour Finals, and his 8/1 rank outsider price to cause a huge upset here reflects that this foe is one he simply cannot seem to conquer.
It looks straightforward for Djokovic, whose rare lapse against Federer should not be read into too much. Odds of 4/1 for the Serb to take the opening set 6-2, having done so in his last two Berdych battles at this end of year tournament, is a fabulous price.
