Arsenal v Stoke City
The Gunners ran riot over the Potters at the Emirates last season, surging to a 3-0 victory, as Alexis Sanchez bagged a brace. Manager Arsene Wenger has been handed a huge boost with centre backs Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker deemed fit to play, which adds Arsenal a defensive edge. The former also dispatched in this fixture last term.
Crystal Palace v Manchester City
Manuel Pellegrini’s side won home and away last season, with this fixture finishing 2-0 in City’s favour. Yaya Toure, who has had a sensational start to the campaign dispatched at Selhurst Park last season and is great value at 11/4 to net anytime.
City now also boast the assists machine that is Kevin De Bruyne in their ranks, who sliced open most of Bundesliga defences last season, so the Eagles will have to be alert.
Watford v Swansea
Garry Monk’s side have been in superb form so far this season and sit joint-third in the Premier League. Having taking a point at Stamford Bridge, before beating both Newcastle and Manchester United, Watford should rightly be worried.
Captain Ashley Williams commented on the Swans good start saying: “We’ve done well – I think things are different now compared to previous years as people are giving us more respect and attention because of what we’ve done.
“But for us it’s about staying humble, continuing to work hard and trying to work on our consistency.
“We have to stay focused and not get carried away by all the good things being written about us. We have to read it and enjoy it because we’ve all worked hard for it, but we cannot let it go to our heads,” he continued.
“It’s four games into the season so we haven’t done anything yet. We’ve had a good start, but we don’t get anything now and we recognise that.”
