Watford v Arsenal Betting Tips: Hornets to compound Arsenal woe?
Preview and odds ahead of Premier League tie
The final match of this Premier League weekend comes from Vicarage Road as Watford host Arsenal.
The Hornets will be buzzing following their victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers to reach the FA Cup final last Sunday.
Will this be another bitter away day for Unai Emery’s men? Or can Arsenal put down a statement of their top-four ambitions?
Catch all the action from 8:00pm on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
Head-to-Head
Arsenal have bagged the three points in the last two meetings – but crucially they’ve been at the Emirates Stadium.
Watford scored a famous win over the North Londoners in the last meeting at Vicarage Road. A 90th-minute strike from Tom Cleverley earned the Hornets a 2-1 victory.
The last time Watford won at the Emirates was another 2-1 triumph in the FA Cup 6th Round. A goal apiece from Odion Ighalo and Adlene Guedioura saw Arsenal off.
Likely XIs
Watford: Foster; Femenia, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas; Hughes, Doucoure, Capoue, Pereyra; Deulofeu, Deeney
Arsenal: Leno; Monreal, Koscielny, Mustafi; Kolasinac, Maitland Niles, Guendouzi, Torreira; Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette
Emery may shuffle his pack with a trip to Naples in the Europa League on the horizon. But he could retain the 3-4-2-1 formation that has served him so well this season.
Sokratis’ suspension should mean Shkodran Mustafi takes his place in defence.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could make way for Alex Iwobi and Emery will have to decide whether to include Mesut Ozil or Aaron Ramsey from the start.
Gracia may well start Gerard Deulofeu after his match winning cameo in the FA Cup.
Will Hughes could start on the right hand side of midfield after a string of impressive performances lately.
Key Battles

Could Ramsey get the nod tonight?
If Abdoulaye Doucoure and Etienne Capoue get a foothold in the midfield, this could be a long night for Arsenal.
They will most likely come up against the pair of Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira. The latter started and scored in the 2-0 win over Napoli last Thursday and looks a big boost to Arsenal’s end of season run in.
Deulofeu will be a big threat and could be a handful for the Arsenal rear-guard. But if Ramsey or Ozil do start, then their attacking threat could well be the difference tonight.
Match Odds
A repeat of last season’s 2-1 home win for Watford comes in at a 20/1 shot.
In the outright odds, Arsenal are 5/2 to score victory, while Watford are 4/1 to heap more Premier League woe on Gunners.
Will Watford still have an FA Cup hangover? You can get Arsenal to be winning after 30 minutes at 12/5.
But the FA Cup success could give Gracia’s boys the boost they need. We go 5/4 for Watford to strike first, with Deeney being the man to do so at 6/1.
Lacazette to get Arsenal up and running is at 4s, with Alex Iwobi at 13/5 anytime.
