Tiger Roll red-hot favourite for Grand National
Latest Grand National odds
Tiger Roll remains the red-hot favourite to make it back-to-back wins in the Grand National at Aintree, with odds of 7/2.
At the latest entry stage, Anibale Fly and Rathvinden are joint second-favourites out at 10/1, with Vintage Clouds a little further out at 12/1.
The shortest-priced withdrawal of the day came in the form of Ms Parfois. The 25/1 long shot was forced to withdraw with a foot injury.
“The good news for bookies is that all the leading contenders stood their ground against Tiger Roll today, the bad news is he remains a red-hot favourite to become the first dual-winner since Red Rum 44 years ago, and if Gordon Elliott’s charge remains at his current odds we’ll have the shortest priced National favourite since Rummie was sent off at 7/2 in 1975,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Elsewhere, Buveur D’Air remains on course to win the Aintree Hurdle. The eight-year-old gelding is 11/10, with Apple’s Jade at 4/1, and Melon out at 5/1.
