Premier League Betting Tips: Saints and Cardiff set for wins?
Premier League betting preview and odds
From a rematch of the FA Cup semi-final to two tasty derbies and a pair of crunch relegation tussles, the Premier League doesn’t disappoint this afternoon.
It all gets underway as Tottenham take on West Ham United at 12:30pm. You can check out our preview for that one here. For the rest of the day’s action, read on with our Premier League Betting Tips.
Crystal Palace v Everton
There’s not a lot to choose between these two on current form. Our traders agree. Palace are 31/20 to register back-to-back Prem wins for the first time since December, with Everton at 7/4.
The Draw could be the likeliest option at 23/10, although whatever the score, there should be goals. Both sides boast plenty of firepower and Both Teams to Score is available to back at 7/10.
Luka Milivojevic and Wilfried Zaha share top billing for the hosts at 2/1 apiece to Score Anytime.
Fulham v Cardiff City
It’s impossible to underestimate just how big this match is for Cardiff. A win will take them level on points with Brighton – at least temporarily – anything less leaves them with a mountain to climb.
Fulham have looked much better since relegation was confirmed. But Cardiff have a good record against the division’s bottom sides and can claim a crucial three points at 19/10.
Aleksandar Mitrovic is still likely to get on the scoresheet for the hosts at 11/8. Victor Camarasa makes most appeal for the Bluebirds at 23/10 after netting twice in the last month.
Southampton v AFC Bournemouth
Bournemouth put their away day woes to rest with an emphatic win at Brighton and three points at Huddersfield. But a rejuvenated Southampton at St Mary’s looks a much tougher task.
The Saints have won three of their last four on the South Coast, turning over Wolves and Spurs in the process. They’re 20/23 to pick up all three points against 3/1 for the Cherries.
Could Shane Long get on the scoresheet again too? Fresh from netting the Prem’s fastest-ever goal, the Irishman is 7/4 to bag his fourth in five matches during an unprecedented purple patch.
Ryan Fraser struck for the visitors against Brighton a fortnight ago and makes appeal at 4/1 Anytime. Callum Wilson should also be a threat.
Watford v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Javi Gracia and Watford have already beaten Wolves twice this season, including in the FA Cup semi-final earlier this month. They’re 31/20 to inflict a hat-trick of defeats on their Midlands opponents.
Gerard Deulofeu was the difference maker in North London when the sides last met. He’s 2/1 favourite to Score Anytime or a 12/1 chance to Score 2 or More for the second week in a row.
Both boast plenty of threat going forward. It’s 10/11 for Both Teams to Score and 6/5 for Over 2.5 Goals in the match.
Brighton v Newcastle United
When you’ve not scored in over 630 minutes of a football, a visit from the meanest defence in the bottom-half isn’t what you need. So we’re expecting Under 2.5 Goals in this one at 4/7.
Brighton will dig in for a point which could secure their Prem safety. It’s 21/10 about the Draw or 8/13 for Newcastle on the Double Chance. Both Teams to Score – No, is a 4/5 chance.
