Latest odds and betting for the 2000 Guineas
After a mighty impressive showing in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket, unbeaten raider Skardu has seen his odds of winning the 2000 Guineas cut to 8/1 by our traders.
The William Haggas-trained three-year-old was out at 25/1 before winning at Newmarket, but his impressive performance has caught the eye of many.
Too Darn Hot is still the favourite to win the 2000 Guineas, although his odds have drifted from 7/4 out to 9/4.
Persian King remains second-favourite in the running at 7/2, with Ten Sovereings and Magna Grecia ahead of Skardu at 4s and 6s.
“Skardu has entered the 2000 Guineas picture on the back of his success in the Craven Stakes where he is now single figures for the opening Classic of the year in the UK,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“Given his setback off the track, Too Darn Hot is on the drift in the betting, while Persian King continues to be popular following his victory in France earlier in the week,” added Hill.
