With Cheltenham Festival done and dusted, the countdown to the Grand National at Aintree is on, and our traders are right on top of the contenders.

Tiger Roll remains 5/1 favourite for a repeat success in the race, ahead of last week’s Gold Cup runner-up, Anibale Fly, at 10/1.

Coral has trimmed Rathvinden to 12/1 (from 14/1) for the Randox Grand National, following support for the Willie Mullins-trained contender today.

“It will take an act of God to prevent Tiger Roll starting a red-hot favourite for a repeat National success, but having ended his Gold Cup hoodoo last week, trainer Willie Mullins could easily send out the leading market challenger to last year’s winner, with his Rathvinden closing in on Anibale Fly,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

Away from the National, Too Darn Hot remains favourite in the 2,000 Guineas at 11/10, with Ten Sovereigns second in the running at 8/1, and Calyx out at 10/1.
