Odds and preview ahead of Sunday’s ties

The Premier League action continues today with the Merseyside clubs sharing the limelight.

Liverpool are hoping to take advantage of Manchester City’s FA Cup exploits by returning to the top of the table with a victory.

This is then followed by a huge game at Goodison Park as Everton host Champions League chasing Chelsea.

Our traders have priced up the big day of action and we’ve got a preview of it all right here.

Fulham v Liverpool (2:15pm Sky Sports Premier League)

Fulham host a rampant Liverpool side who are fresh from qualifying for the Champions League quarter finals.

It’s hard to look past the Reds in this one – especially as the home side have lost nine of their last ten games.

Liverpool have also won each of the last five meetings between the two sides. The outright odds suggest Jurgen Klopp’s men could take this at 1/4.

The Cottagers last win came back in 2012, but they are 11/1 to replicate that result this afternoon.

A point would see Liverpool join City on 74 point and they are as short as 1/33 on the double chance.

But we could see a stubborn Fulham performance, hoping they can use the brute force of Aleksandar Mitrovic in attack. You can find a draw between the pair at 24/5.

But Fulham do have the league’s worst defence, so you could look at Liverpool to win with Over 5.5 Goals in the game at 7/1.

In the goalscorer markets, Sadio Mane has hit a hot-streak recently and is 10/11 anytime and 4/1 for 2 or more. Mitrovic leads the way for the Cottagers at 13/5 to notch.

Everton v Chelsea (4.30pm Sky Sports Premier League)

Everton have had a very up and down season so far. The Toffees beat Cardiff City easily, were resolute in a 0-0 draw with Liverpool but then came unstuck to Newcastle United last weekend.

Although in no clear danger of relegation they are just three points from the magic 40 point mark that many teams aim for. A win that would take them to that milestone is 29/10.

The home side took a 2-0 lead against Newcastle last time out and they’re 5/2 to open the scoring in the first half.

But Chelsea know a win at 10/11 will heap the pressure on their nearest challengers Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for top four.

Olivier Giroud bagged a hat-trick in the Europa League, although Gonzalo Higuian could return to the starting eleven and is 7/1 to bag two or more goals.

Eden Hazard could be Chelsea best chance at a goal at 7/5, but he will be seeking his first league goal at Goodison in seven attempts.
