Latest Six Nations odds

It’s crunch time in the Six Nations, as Wales, England and Ireland bid to keep their championship hopes alive.

Despite currently sitting second, Eddie Jones’ England are 4/6 favourites to win the Six Nations, ahead of Wales at 13/8. Ireland are the only other realistic contenders at 12/1.

Wales lead the way by two points, and are still on course for a Grand Slam. They’ve got the task of taking on Scotland at Murrayfield this weekend.

And Warren Gatland’s men can’t afford to slip up, with England hosting Italy on Saturday afternoon at Twickenham. Ireland must win in Paris to remain in the hunt on Sunday.

Scotland v Wales – Saturday, 2:15pm, BBC One

Wales have lost more times than they’ve won at Murrayfield, but in recent times they’ve enjoyed great success. They’ve won five of their last seven trips to Edinburgh, and have downed the Tartan Army in 15 of their last 17 meetings.

Our traders have chalked up Gatland’s men as 8/15 favourites, with the Scots 13/8 outsiders.

Each of Wales’ wins in the tournament have come by 11 points or fewer.  They’re 10/11 on the -4 handicap while 9/5 says the Welsh win it by 1-10 point margin.

England v Italy – Saturday, 4:45pm, ITV

In 24 meetings with Italy, England have produced 24 wins. That explains much of the 1/100 price on offer for the Red Rose to win this weekend.

Italy are way out at 20/1, and could be on the receiving end of a backlash as Jones’ men recoup from defeat to Wales a fortnight ago.

And Gli Azzurri’s trips to West London are usually pretty bruising. Four of England’s last five wins over the Italians on home soil have come by 21 points or more. There’s 10/11 about the hosts on the -33 handicap, while 11/4 says Jones’ men claim the win by 21-30.

Ireland v France – Sunday, 3:00pm, ITV

Should one or both of Wales and/or England slip-up, Ireland could pounce at home to France.

The Emerald Isle are 1/8 to win at the Aviva Stadium, with Les Blues out at 5/1.

France have proved inconsistent this year, capable of moments of brilliance and defensive capitulations in equal measure.

Ireland have won five of the last six meetings, but each have come by 15 points or fewer. Our traders are 9/2 about an Irish win by 6-10 points, and the same price about a 10-15 point winning margin.
