Tips and preview ahead of the day’s matches

With the latest round of international fixtures over and done with, focus switches back to the Premier League.

It’s still all to play for at both ends of the table, with five of the bottom six playing during today. The action starts at Craven Cottage where strugglers Fulham host title-challengers Manchester City in a match previewed here.

Before kick-off, we’ve got tips and mini-previews of the other six top-flight matches…

Brighton & Hove Albion v Southampton

The battle of the South coast takes extra prominence this year, with both sides fighting at the wrong end of the table in order to remain a top-flight team.

Brighton are favourites for the three points at 31/20, but Southampton aren’t heavy outsiders at 2/1. The pair played out a 2-2 draw in the last meeting, with another draw at 2/1.

A repeat of the 2-2 scoreline comes in at 11/1.

The Seagulls have relied on veteran striker Glenn Murray to grab their goals this season. He’s bagged almost a third of their league goals, netting 10 of their 32. He’s a 10/3 favourite to open the scoring, or you could get 6/4 anytime.

Burnley v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sean Dyche had managed to draw his Burnley side away from the relegation battle before a run of four defeats dropped them back in. They face a Wolves side taking the league by storm.

The Clarets come into the match as 21/10 underdogs to secure three points at home, but Wolves will fancy their chances. They’re 29/20 to take the points back to the West Midlands.

Wolves snatched took the points in the first tie, winning 1-0. They’re 6/1 for another 1-0 win.

Raul Jimenez bagged the goal that time around. He’s been a revelation in the Premier League for Wolves with 12 goals to his name. He’s 4/1 to score first, or 7/4 anytime.

Crystal Palace v Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town’s brief flirtation with Premier League football appears to be coming to an abrupt end, and Crystal Palace will be hoping to send them a step closer to the drop.

The Eagles are heavy favourites at home with odds of 4/9. The Terriers are 15/2 outsiders, not helped by their horrendous form. They’ve won just once since November.

Roy Hodgson’s side ran out as 1-0 winners in Huddersfield thanks to a Wilfried Zaha strike. They’re 17/4 for a repeat scoreline, with Zaha 13/8 to grab the goal.

Leicester City v A.F.C Bournemouth

Brendan Rodgers has injected fight back into the Foxes style of play, winning the last two in the league. Bournemouth’s inconsistency shows no signs of stopping, with one win, two draws and two defeats in their last five.

Leicester are favourites for the win at the King Power at 4/5, with the Cherries a distant 16/5 to grab three points in the Midlands.

Eddie Howe masterminded a 4-2 win in the reverse fixture, and if you think it’ll be a goal fest in this one, over 5.5 goals over the 90 minutes is 17/2.

Callum Wilson and Josh King top score for the Cherries this season with 11 goals. They’re 15/8 and 23/10 anytime respectively.

Jamie Vardy is back in form under Rodgers. He’s got three in three, and priced 5/6 to score anytime.

Manchester United v Watford

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s stint at the wheel of Manchester United is destined to last three years after his caretaker role at United turned into a permanent appointment.

The Red Devils are looking to push on for a top four spot and a win against Watford would leave them one point above Arsenal, who play on Monday. They’re 4/9 for the win, with the Hornets 6/1 outsiders.

United grabbed a 2-1 win at Vicarage Road, and they’re 7/1 for a repeat of that.

Romelu Lukaku has been finding the net recently, scoring four in his last three. He’s 3/1 to score first, and comes in at evens anytime. Gerard Deulofeu scored against Manchester rivals City last time out, and he’s 3/1 to complete the Manchester double.

West Ham United v Everton (5:30pm)

The Hammers came from behind late on against bottom side Huddersfield last time out to win 4-3, while Everton beat Chelsea 2-0 in an impressive tactical battle.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side are slight favourites to pick up three points at 29/20, but Everton could impress again at 7/4 for an away victory.

The Toffees lost the home game to West Ham at Goodison Park, with Andriy Yarmolenko and Marko Arnautovic grabbing the goals for the Hammers in their 3-1 win. 15/8 says it’s going to be another high scoring game, with over 3.5 goals.

Javier Hernandez bagged a late brace in that Terriers clash. He’s 11/8 anytime, or 7/1 to bag at least another two. Richarlison is favourite to score for Everton at 15/8 anytime.
