Saturday Premier League Betting Tips: Leicester to pile more pressure on Burnley?
Odds and preview for Saturday’s top-flight action
The FA Cup quarter-finals are this weekend, which means we’ve got a streamlined Premier League schedule. But there should be no shortage of drama in the top flight.
We’ve got three games to look forward to at 3:00pm this afternoon, starting with Leicester City’s trip to Burnley…
Burnley v Leicester
Can Leicester start building some momentum under new boss Brendan Rodgers here? Rodgers oversaw his first win in charge against Fulham last week, now they face a Burnley side reeling from three straight defeats.
Despite losing, Burnley did score twice against Liverpool last week. Leicester and Both Teams to Score is going for 19/5.
Jamie Vardy didn’t hide the fact that he found Claude Puel’s style frustrating. The Foxes legend looks revitalised with three goals in two games since Rodgers took over. He’s 16/5 to open the scoring.
Ashley Barnes could be the one to watch for the Clarets. The forward is 6/4 to net for the fourth home game in a row.
West Ham United v Huddersfield Town
After losing 2-0 to Cardiff City last week, West Ham are odds-on at 4/7 to get back to winning ways.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side has plenty of attacking talent. They could have a field day against the rock-bottom Terriers. They’re 13/8 to win on the -1 Handicap.
Marko Arnautovic should return to the Hammers’ starting XI here. He heads the First Goalscorer betting as a 3/1 shot.
After bagging twice in his last three appearances at the London Stadium, Michail Antonio is also 12/5 to net anytime.
Bournemouth v Newcastle United
Newcastle are the form team here, surging up the table after three wins from their last four games. But all of those wins have come on their own patch. They haven’t won away in league action since mid-December.
With that in mind, our traders have Bournemouth as 21/20 favourites, with Newcastle at 5/2. The draw is going for 23/10.
Callum Wilson marked his return to action with a goal last week. The England international is 13/10 to get another here.
But Salomon Rondon settled the game with two goals when these sides met in November. Newcastle’s number nine is 7/4 to net at the Vitality.
