Man City’s odds trimmed for Champions League glory
Pep Guardiola’s side favourites to lift the trophy
Our traders have trimmed Manchester City’s chances of Champions League glory following the draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals.
City have been drawn against Tottenham Hotspur in the last eight, with a potential semi-final against either Juventus or Ajax awaiting.
The Premier League champions have now been cut from 5/2 to 9/4 to lift the trophy in Madrid.
Pep Guardiola’s side are one of four English sides in the quarter-finals. It’s an 8/11 that we see a first English winner since 2012, while there’s 2/1 about an all-English final.
“Manchester City top the betting to win the Champions League after they were drawn in an all-English tie with Spurs,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“We are now odds-on for there to be an English winner this year and the odds have been cut on an all-English final,” added Hill.
