Tips and preview for the four Prem clashes

There are four Premier League clashes on the cards tonight – with the focus on those sides looking to beat the drop.

Four of the bottom seven are involved, including a clash between upwardly-mobile pair Newcastle United and Burnley.

Elsewhere, Neil Warnock’s Bluebirds will be looking to boost their survival hopes on home soil.

Ahead of kick-offs across the league, we’ve got the tips and info you need…

Cardiff City v Everton

The Toffees are in torrid form, losing five of their last six in all competitions. And they could endure more misery against a Cardiff side starting to click.

The Bluebirds have already ground out wins against AFC Bournemouth and Southampton this month. And they could well have taken a point in October’s narrow 1-0 loss at Goodison Park.

We go 27/10 for a Cardiff win, while the Double Chance on Warnock’s men is 3/4.

Three of their seven league wins this term have ended 2-1, and we go 11/1 for another round of 2-1 Cardiff.

Defender Sol Bamba has scored in each of the last two games. The big Ivorian is 11/2 to score Anytime.

Huddersfield Town v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Terriers fans would be happy with a goal right now, let alone a point. They’ve lost 14 of their last 15 in all competitions, and netted just twice in 2019.

Wolves are bang in form and racking up the goals – with 12 in their last five games. We make the Molineux outfit 17/20 for victory, while those looking for a bigger price can get 13/2 on a 2-0 away win.

There’s no stopping Raul Jimenez at present. The Mexican magician has scored four in his last four Prem outings. He’s 6/4 to notch Anytime against the Yorkshire strugglers.

Leicester City v Brighton & Hove Albion

Neither side are in much form at present. But the head-to-head record favours Leicester, who’ve managed seven points in the last three meetings.

With the Seagulls having managed a paltry eight points on their travels this term, the Foxes should just about edge this.

Leicester are 10/11 for victory – a result which could return them to the top-half. It’s the second-half where they’ve mostly been firing. Nine of the Foxes’ last 10 goals have come after the break, and they’re 5/4 to Win the Second Half.

Jamie Vardy has notched in each of the last two meetings between these sides. The fan favourite is 13/10 to strike again in this one.

Newcastle United v Burnley

Don’t let their league positions fool you, both of these sides are moving on up. Between them, the pair have had just one defeat in 10 league outings.

Games between these sides tend to be close. Three of the last five have finished level. It’s 11/5 for the Draw on Tyneside, while another 1-1 scoreline between the sides is 5/1.

Salomon Rondon broke the deadlock against Huddersfield last time out, and is 10/3 to be First Goalscorer again.

Meanwhile, the Clarets’ Kiwi king Chris Wood has bagged four in four, and could strike again at 12/5 Anytime.
