Pep Perfection? Man City just 14/1 to win the Quadruple this season

Manchester United’s treble of 1998-99 stands as the single most successful club season in English football history. But could their ‘Noisy Neighbours’ now put the Red Devils’ achievements in the shade?
Ahead of this season, Manchester City were as long as 150/1 to bag all four major trophies – Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup – this season.
That price had dropped to 33/1 by December, but it’s more than halved since. As it stands, we go 14/1 for Man City to win all four trophies this term.
The Sky Blues were in a similar situation 12 months ago, at odds of 10/1 for the quadruple – before a shock FA Cup exit to Wigan Athletic. So, can they go all the way this year?
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “There was a lot of excitement last year about Manchester City winning the quadruple until their hopes were scuppered by Wigan in the fifth round of the FA Cup. They’ve cleared that hurdle this time around and the odds are tumbling once again on a clean sweep, at just 14/1 now.”
Aitkenhead added: “This weekend marks their first chance for silverware and they are heavily odds on at 1/3 to defeat Chelsea and claim the Carabao Cup to kick off a potentially historical 2019 for Pep’s men.”
