Odds and previews of this Prem double-header

There’s a double-header from the Premier League this afternoon, with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur hitting the road to face the division’s basement-dwellers.

Ahead of an big pair of Super Sunday clashes, we check out whether the big guns can keep up the momentum on their travels…

Huddersfield Town v Man City

The Terriers won admirers by beating the drop last season, but they’ve now well and truly lost their bite – as well as boss David Wagner, who departed on Monday.

As for Pep Guardiola’s visitors, they couldn’t be in any better form. The Citizens have netted a huge 24 goals in their last five games, seven of which have come from Gabriel Jesus.

That all means City are a skinny 1/8 for victory. Meanwhile, the Draw is 7/1 and a seemingly impossible home win priced at 20s.

Jesus is in the form of his life, and he’s Evens to net Anytime at the John Smith’s Stadium. Meanwhile, he’s 3/1 to bag Two or More Goals for the fourth time in nine outings.

It’s far from impossible that this could be a real mauling. Our traders make it 28/1 for the Citizens to notch a 6-0 win.

Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs have been ruthless on their travels this season, winning their last four on the road. That included a 6-2 rout of Everton at Goodison Park, the first time the Toffees have shipped six at home since August 2014.

Those stats should have the Cottagers worried. Claudio Ranieri’s side have the league’s leakiest defence, shipping 49 goals in 22 games.

It’s hard to see past a Spurs win here. They’re 8/11 in the Match Betting, with 5/2 for a Draw and 19/5 for the hosts to snatch a victory.

Despite a handful of injuries – including Harry Kane -, Mauricio Pochettino’s side still have top attacking talents to choose from. We make them 7/4 to net in both halves, while Dele Alli could be popular at 11/2 to break the deadlock.
