Nations League Tips: Switzerland, Bosnia and Luxembourg among picks
Odds for tonight’s international football ties
There’s more Nations League action on the way tonight, with England’s trip to Spain the headline fixture.
We’ve previewed that game with a Big Match Breakdown, and you’ll find tips for the pick of tonight’s other fixtures right here…
Iceland v Switzerland
Iceland have had a tough time lately. They lost 6-0 to Switzerland last month, followed by a 3-0 loss to Belgium. Last week they were 2-0 up against France in the 86th minute, only to end up drawing 2-2.
Their misery could continue here, as defeat would see them relegated from League A. Switzerland won’t find things as easy as they did last time the two sides met, but the visitors should have enough to get the points.
It is worth noting that the last two games between these sides produced 14 goals. Switzerland and Over 2.5 Goals is 11/5.
Finland v Greece
Finland have put together an impressive run of results recently, winning each of their last four outings without conceding a single goal.
They host a Greece side who’ve fired a blank in three of their last seven games. They haven’t scored more than once during that run either.
Finland can open up a six-point lead in Group C2 with another win. It’s 14/5 that the home side keep their Win to Nil streak going.
Bosnia v Northern Ireland
Bosnia lead Group B3 after picking up two wins from their opening two games. A third win here would go a long way to cementing top spot.
They’ve only lost once on home soil in the last four years. Belgium are the only away side to score in their last seven home outings too.
Take advantage of a Smart Boost on Bosnia to win to nil at 6/4 (was 11/10).
Luxembourg v San Marino
Luxembourg have won three of their last four outings and will be confident of getting another against perennial whipping boys San Marino.
San Marino have lost 23 games in a row since a 0-0 draw with Estonia in November 2014. They’ve only scored three goals during that time.
Luxembourg have already beaten them 3-0 away. They’ll fancy winning by an even bigger margin at home. The hosts are 8/15 to win on the -2 Handicap.
