Jose Mourinho is now as short as 1/6 with Coral to leave Manchester United before the season finishes following his side’s 0-0 draw with Valencia in the Champions League.
The firm make it 1/4 that Mourinho leaves the club before the end of the calendar year, while he is 4/7 to be the next Premier League manager to leave their post.
Coral’s John Hill said: “We’ve taken a flood of bets on Mourinho being sacked before the end of the season following his side’s goalless draw with Valencia, while many punters believe he will be dismissed before the calendar year is out.”
Coral is already betting on who will replace Mourinho at Old Trafford and Zinedine Zidane is the odds-on favourite at 1/2 to take over.
“Zinedine Zidane is the overwhelming favourite to take over at Manchester United if the club do decide to part ways with Mourinho, however, we have already taken a number of bets on Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino being handed the role,” added Hill.
