Odds for Wednesday’s Nations League and friendly fixtures

The final Nations League fixtures get underway tonight, as well as a couple of glamorous friendlies.

We’ve got a full preview of the Republic of Ireland and Wales’ crucial meeting in Group B4 here, and the best of the action elsewhere coming up…

France v Germany (7:45pm)

Germany’s misery has continued since their dismal showing at the World Cup. Die Mannschaft’s shock 3-0 defeat to the Netherlands last weekend saw them hit another low.

Joachim Low’s side have failed to score in three successive competitive games for the first time in their history. And defeat to France would see them circling relegation to League B.

With Germany struggling for form and fluency, the World champions should pile even more pressure on Low. France are 23/10 to win to nil.

Belgium v Netherlands (7:45pm)

Belgium have won 19 of their last 22 games, but the Dutch will be riding high after their convincing win over Germany.

The visitors will be without Virgil van Dijk for this Low Countries derby though, which is a major setback.

Eden Hazard has made a sensational start to the season at Chelsea. The Belgium captain could make the difference in Van Dijk’s absence. It’s 9/4 for Hazard to score in a Belgium win.

Brazil v Argentina (6:45pm)

Brazil and Argentina bring a South American rivalry to Saudi Arabia tonight. It may be a friendly, but there’s usually plenty of fireworks when these two meet.

Brazil have a clear first XI and way of playing under Tite, which could give them the edge here. Argentina are still trying to find the right formula under caretaker boss Lionel Scaloni. They’re also without Lionel Messi here, although Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi ensure they still carry a real threat.

Brazil and Both Teams to Score is going for 29/10.

Ukraine v Czech Republic (7:45pm)

The form guide favours Ukraine in this one, who’ve won five of their last eight outings. Andriy Shevchenko’s side haven’t lost during that run either. With top spot up for grabs, they’ll want to seal promotion with another victory.

Czech Republic have lost four of their previous seven games, including a 2-1 defeat at home to tonight’s opponents last month.

But don’t expect a goalfest here. Only one of Ukraine’s last 15 outings have produced Over 3.5 Goals. Another Ukraine win and Under 3.5 Goals is an 11/10 shot.

Norway v Bulgaria (7:45pm)

Norway have won all but one of their games since last September. The only exception was their 1-0 defeat to Bulgaria last month.

That result has put Bulgaria firmly in the driving seat in Group C3. Lars Lagerback’s side will be determined to make amends on home soil, but the visitors won’t have any intention of letting their three-point lead slip.

The two sides could cancel each other out in Oslo. The draw is priced at 12/5.
