Is it curtains for the Cottagers manager?

The odds are continuing to tumble on Fulham parting ways with boss Slavisa Jokanovic, following the Cottagers’ 4-2 loss at Cardiff City on Saturday.

The Fulham boss had been 20/1 to be the next Prem manager to leave before the season began, but is now as short as 11/4 to be the season’s first casualty.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho at 5/2 is still at the top of the betting, but could soon drift out with the Red Devils showing signs of improvement.

Meanwhile, there’s a duo of Mark Hughes and Rafa Benitez at 6/1, while Cardiff manager Neil Warnock is now out to 8/1 following their triumph over Fulham.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Jose is still the favourite but the bets are pouring in for Slavisa Jokanovic to be the first manager to be sacked in the Premier League this weekend and his odds have plummeted.”

Aitkenhead added: “He’s under real pressure now and our market suggests he might struggle to turn it around soon enough.”
