Odds for Monday’s action at Flushing Meadows

The US Open is heating up now, with the remaining quarter-final places due to be settled before the end of the night.

Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova are amongst the stars on court today. Here are your tips for today’s action from the Coral News Team

Aryna Sabalenka to beat Naomi Osaka – 5/4

Both players are in red-hot form heading into this last-16 match. Sabalenka has racked up 12 wins in her last 13 outings. Osaka has only dropped six games in her three matches during this tournament so far.

But after crushing two-time Wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova in just 85 minutes on Sunday, Sabalenka has a real chance to make her first Grand Slam quarter-final here.

Novak Djokovic to beat Joao Sousa in straight sets – 2/7

Novak Djokovic could set up a tasty quarter-final tie with Roger Federer if he dispatches Sousa in New York.

Sousa has never made it to this stage of a Slam before. He’s unlikely to get any further up against a two-time US Open winner.

David Goffin to beat Marin Cilic – 13/8

World no. 7 takes on no. 10 as Marin Cilic meets David Goffin. Cilic might have the higher ranking, but he’s coming into this after a four-hour epic against Alex De Minaur that ended in the early hours of Sunday.

If the Croatian is still feeling the effects of that game, he could struggle against Goffin’s precise returns. The Belgian has been very impressive on hard courts recently and edges the head-to-head record between these two 3-2.

Maria Sharapova to beat Carla Suarez Navarro in straight sets – 11/10

Sharapova is still some way from her very best, but if she cuts out the unforced errors, she should be too good for her last-16 opponent.

The Russian has beaten Suarez Navarro in four of their previous five meetings. Another win this time around would secure her first US Open quarter-final appearance since 2012.

Roger Federer to beat John Millman and Over 0.5 Total Tiebreaks – 11/10

After beating Nick Kyrgios in the last round, Federer is up against another Australian here. John Millman is likely to suffer the same fate as his compatriot against arguably the greatest player of all time.

But Millman has nothing to lose here. And he has an idea of how to hurt his opponent after training with him for a week after the French Open. Expect him to rise to the occasion and push for at least one set.
