Super Sunday tips: More woe for West Ham and Burnley?
Odds and previews for Premier League action
Sunday brings two Premier League games to enjoy, with Wolverhampton Wanderers hosting Burnley in the first game of the afternoon.
After that, West Ham United look to kick-start their campaign away to Everton. And the Coral News Team have tips for both games right here…
Wolves v Burnley
Wolves have made a solid start to life back in the top flight so far. They’ve won one, drawn two and lost the other of their four games.
But at home to a struggling Burnley side, they could really come alive. The Clarets have only picked up one point so far.
The Championship winners are 8/11 to get their first home win of the season.
Burnley’s season could start properly now without the distraction of the Europa League. They’re 9/2 to get a much-needed win. The draw is 12/5.
But Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho in midfield should control the game for Wolves. Adama Traore may have earned a first start for the hosts too. On his day, his speed and skill can torment any full-back.
Wolves striker Raul Jimenez is 8/5 favourite to open the scoring, with Chris Wood the likeliest Burnley scorer at 23/10.
Everton v West Ham
Everton are unbeaten so far, while West Ham sit rock-bottom without a single point.
After spending heavily in the summer, Hammers fans will have expected much more. And with a daunting fixture list over the next few weeks, the visitors really need a result here.
But Everton are 21/20 favourites, with the East London club a 5/2 shot. The draw is also priced at 5/2.
West Ham will be encouraged by the Toffee’s failure to keep a clean sheet this term. In Marko Arnautovic, Felipe Anderson and Javier Hernandez, they’ve got quality in attacking areas.
The problem is they can’t keep goals out at the other end. Manuel Pellegrini’s side have already conceded 10 goals. It’s 3/4 for Over 2.5 Goals.
Cenk Tosun will be relishing going up against the Hammers’ backline. The Everton striker is 4/1 to open the scoring. Theo Walcott’s also 21/10 to hit the back of the net.
Arnautovic is 9/5 to get on the scoresheet for the visitors. Anderson’s 4/1 to get his first goal in English football.
