Preview, odds and tips for Premier League curtain-raiser
The Premier League roars back into action as Manchester United host Leicester City tonight.
United’s pre-season has been far from ideal, as Jose Mourinho hasn’t got the additions he wanted.
Leicester have lost Riyad Mahrez, but they’ve made several smart signings to help offset his departure.
The game gets underway at 8:00pm and you can tune in on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky 1.

Head-to-Head
Since getting promoted four years ago, Leicester have only beaten United once in nine meetings. That was a memorable 5-3 win over the defending champions in September 2014.
But the Foxes have lost four of their last five games against the Red Devils. This could be a chance to end that unhappy run.
Likely XIs
With so many players either injured or not yet match fit, and without many new faces, Mourinho doesn’t a lot of options here.
Fred is set to make his debut in midfield alongside Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira. Marcus Rashford is in line to start up front, flanked by Alexis Sanchez and Juan Mata.
Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire will miss out for Leicester after their World Cup exertions. Kelechi Iheanacho and new signing Jonny Evans should take their place.
Evans’ fellow arrivals James Maddison and Ricardo Pereira could make their first appearances for the club too.
Key Battles
Rashford didn’t play as much as he’d have liked for United last season. He’ll be determined to begin this one well. His speed could be too much for Wes Morgan to handle.
Sanchez will also be looking to show his quality after a frustrating start to life in Manchester. He’ll be cutting in from the left, giving Morgan more problems to deal with. Leicester’s new right-back Pereira could be in for a busy night.
Vardy’s pace could have been a real weapon for Leicester against an unfamiliar United backline. But Iheanacho still has the talent to pose a threat.
This will be Maddison’s first top-flight appearance, but the lack of experience in the home midfield could allow him to shine. If he gets on the ball in good areas, the Foxes could spring a surprise.
