The nation may still be in the throes of euphoria after England’s penalty shootout win last night. And the good vibes keep coming with Wimbledon in full swing.

The Coral News Team take you through today’s tips with some close looking games amongst the lower seeds…

Sergiy Stakhovsky +4.5 Games Handicap v Sam Querrey @ 6/5

The last time Querrey and Stakhovsky met back at Indian Wells in 2015, the Ukrainian was victorious.

Querrey can be a tad one-dimensional and generally doesn’t perform too well at these Championships. However, Stakhovsky played five sets to advance in the previous round and that may play a part here.

The American star should win, but Stakhovsky can run him close.

Aljaz Bedene vs Radu Albot – Over 39.5 Games @ 10/11

If there’s one think Albot loves at a Grand Slam, it’s a long, drawn-out slog-fest. The Moldovan has taken his opponent to either four or five sets 15 times in 17 Grand Slam clashes.

And Bedene is by no means a grass court player. He’s a better player in general. But on this surface, he tends to struggle.

Albot beat Pablo Carreno Busta 3-2 in the previous round. And the tenacious 28-year-old can put up another long fight here.

Ivo Karlovic v Jan-Lennard Struff – Set 1 Correct 7-6 @ 11/4

In a different sort of twist, we’re going for the set correct score between Karlovic and Struff.

Simply put, Karlovic is a tie-breaker machine. The Croatian regularly goes all the way. In fact, he’s been involved in an incredible 10 tie-breaks in his last five matches alone.

Karlovic is slight match favourite at 8/13 so getting on the 39-year-old big hitter to nick the first set.

Ruben Bemelmans +3.5 Games Handicap v John Isner @ 5/4

After defeating another big-hitting American opponent in the previous round, Bemelmans will be confident of an upset here.

Isner’s form is poor at Wimbledon and failed at the second round at SW 19 on four of his nine appearances. He lost to Dudi Sela here last year in five sets and that will hand Bemelmans further confidence.

The Belgian ace enjoys the grass court surface and can definitely run an iffy Isner close.
