Morata 6/4 for Juventus return; Man United fourth in the betting
Is struggling hitman set for Chelsea exit?
After a difficult first season at Chelsea, it seems Alvaro Morata could be set to exit this summer. And a return to Juventus looks to be the most likely option.
Coral’s odds make it 6/4 for Morata to rejoin Juve from the Blues. The Spaniard netted 27 times across two seasons in Turin, picking up back-to-back domestic doubles.
However, the Old Lady could face a transfer tussle for Morata’s services. Serie A rivals AC Milan are 7/4 for his signature.
They’re followed in the betting by city rivals Inter Milan at 16/1, with 20/1 shots Manchester United the most likely Premier League side to snap up the 25-year-old.
Coral’s John Hill said: ““It looks like Alvaro Morata’s future is in Italy as Juventus and AC Milan have both attracted lots of interest in his next club betting, with the Serie A champions currently the favourites to secure the Chelsea forward from his disappointing opening season in the Premier League.”
The winners of this transfer tussle could well have an impact on the Serie A title race. As it stands, Juve are 4/9 favourites to retain their crown, while AC Milan are 20/1 shots.
