Preview and tips ahead of ICC clash

Paris Saint-Germain clash with Arsenal in the International Champions Cup in Singapore this afternoon.

PSG warmed up for this one with a 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich whilst Arsenal lost on penalties to Atletico Madrid after a 1-1 draw.

The game kicks off at 12:35pm BST and you can catch the action live on Premier Sports.

The Coral News Team preview the game with a Big Match Breakdown.

Head-to-head

The most recent meeting between the two sides was in the 2016/17 Champions League group stages.

Both games finished level. Alexis Sanchez scored a 77th minute equaliser in Paris as the game finished 1-1.

Back in London it ended 2-2 with an own goal apiece from each team.

It was in 1994 that they first duelled. Arsenal came out on top 2-1 on aggregate in the Cup Winners Cup semi-final.

Likely XIs

There will surely be wholesale changes to both sides as the focus is for the players to clock up the minutes.

Mesut Ozil may come in for this one after sitting out against Atletico. Lucas Perez could replace Alexander Lacazette up-front.

Emile Smith-Rowe scored a wonder goal last time out and could retain his place.

With Kylian Mbappe and Neymar still enjoying their holidays, PSG have brought a scratch team to Singapore.

Julian Draxler and Lassana Diarra may come in. Angel Di Maria was granted extra holidays but could feature.

Di Maria’s compatriot Giovani Lo Celso might make the starting line-up.

Key Battles

Arsenal have the stronger of the two squads on paper.

The only players still yet to return are Danny Welbeck, Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka.

The North London side will have to try and score past Gianluigi Buffon though. The Italian swapped Juventus for Paris in the summer and is still one of the best goalkeepers around.

Reiss Nelson will want another good showing for Arsenal. Matteo Guendouzi impressed on Thursday and he will look to control the tempo up against Lo Celso.

Match Odds

Thomas Tuchel’s men are 27/10 for the victory. Meanwhile, Coral’s odds make it 5/6 for a Gunners victory.

The draw is at 27/10.

Goals have been a redeeming feature in any fixture between these two. Both teams to score here is at 1/2.

Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng is 5/6 to score any time.  Angel Di Maria is favourite for Les Parisiens at 19/10 any time.

Smith-Rowe to notch again is 16/5.
