Wednesday’s World Cup tips: Suarez and Costa to find the net?

Odds and preview of the other group clashes
There’s another trio of games today as Group A and Group B head into the second round of fixtures.
The day kicks off with a meeting between Portugal and Morocco which you can read about in full here.
But the Coral News Team concentrate on the other two fixtures as Uruguay play Saudi Arabia and Spain clash with Iran.
Uruguay v Saudi Arabia
After Russia’s 5-0 hammering of Saudi Arabia in the group opener, you’d think it’s a question of how many for Uruguay here.
Oscar Tabarez’s side were lucky to nick a late winner against Egypt. However, in truth, Luis Suarez and co. missed a handful of really good chances throughout the game.
The Saudis looked a shambles against Russia and lacked very little tactical discipline. Against Suarez and Edinson Cavani, that spells trouble.
Uruguay to win and Over 3.5 Goals in the match is 7/4, while Uruguay to win in the -2 Handicap market is 29/20.
Luis Suarez looked off his game in that opener against the Egyptians. If he can sharpen up and take some of the chances that’ll be offered to him on a plate, he could net at least two.
The Barcelona superstar is 19/10 to score two or more goals. Cavani also looked dangerous in the opener. The Paris Saint-Germain striker is 2/1 to bag first.
Iran v Spain
Iran certainly have put themselves in contention for qualification after that late, late win over Morocco.
However, Carlos Queiroz’s side will still have it all to do with games against Spain, and then Portugal, coming up. But Team Melli are a solid outfit and tactically well-drilled by the ex-Real Madrid coach.
They’ll look to sit back in a low-block and frustrate La Roja. But that might not be enough against this slick Spanish outfit.
Fernando Hierro watched his side put in a hugely impressive performance against the Portuguese. Despite their defensive issues, Spain were irresistible going forward.
Iran don’t have a Cristiano Ronaldo, though. And therefore, this could be a bit of a turkey shoot. Spain are just 1/5 for the win.
This result could depend on how early Spain score. If they can breach the Iran defence early, Queiroz’s side could fold. But the Asian team are resolute defensively and could make it to at least half-time level.
Draw/Spain in the Half Time/Full Time market is 5/2. Under 2.5 Goals is Evens. Diego Costa bagged a brace in the opener and looked dangerous throughout.
The Atletico Madrid striker is 4/5 to score Anytime and 5/2 to be First Goalscorer.
