All the odds and info for Group H clashes

Hosts Russia look to book their place in the last 16 when they face Egypt this evening.

And you can get an in-depth look at that game in another Big Match Breakdown, right here.

But there’s plenty to enjoy before that, with a first look at the sides in Group H. The action kicks off with dark horses Colombia against the four-time Asian Cup winners, and the Coral News Team have the top tips and info you need…

Colombia v Japan

Los Cafeteros are unbeaten in four games ahead of this one – a run which included a 3-2 friendly win away at France. Jose Pekerman’s side were strong in qualifying, and their talented frontline should prove too hot to handle for a very ordinary Japan.

Regardless of club form, James Rodriguez always sparkles for the national side. He scored six times in qualifying, and is 2/1 to net Anytime against Samurai Blue. Coral’s odds also make the Cucuta native 5/1 to be First Goalscorer.

Japan have lost four of their previous six games, and have failed to score in two of the last three. It’s 3/4 for a Colombia win, while Los Cafeteros are 6/4 to Win to Nil.

If Akira Nishino’s men are to get anything, it’s likely to come from the boot of Shinji Kagawa. He’s scored in three of his last eight caps, and is 10/3 to get on the scoresheet.

Poland v Senegal

Robert Lewandowski has been sensational for Poland in recent times. The Bayern Munich hitman has scored 21 times in his last 15 internationals.

He could be the difference in what promises to be a high-scoring clash. Lewandowski is 11/10 to register Anytime and 9/2 to net Two or More Goals.

Senegal also have attacking talent in their ranks, with the likes of Sadio Mane, Moussa Sow and Keita Balde in their ranks. The odds make it 11/10 for Both Teams to Score.

With more tournament experience and one of the world’s best strikers in their ranks, the European side should just about edge this. It’s 27/20 for a Poland win, with 21/10 for the Draw and 5/2 for a Senegal victory.

As regards long shots – Poland scored three or more goals in six of their 10 qualifiers, but kept just two clean sheets. Correct Score: 3-1 Poland is a 22/1 shot.
