Latest odds on the West Brom man

Jonny Evans is now an even-money shot to join Leicester City this summer following a flurry of bets.

The Northern Ireland international has been backed in from 5/1 for a move to the King Power Stadium following West Bromwich Albion’s relegation to the Championship.

Evans has been the subject of intense transfer speculation over the last 12 months. The 29-year-old was widely expected to join Arsenal or Manchester City last summer but opted to stay put at the Hawthorns.

Now his time in the West Midlands looks to be up, with Leicester considered the front-runners for the centre-half’s signature.

An Arsene Wenger-less Arsenal remain in the running at 9/2, followed by Tottenham Hotspur, who could soon be without Toby Alderweireld. The North Londoners are 6/1 to sign Evans.

Man City and Manchester United have also been mooted as potential destinations at 10/1 apiece.

“Leicester have emerged as the new favourites to sign Jonny Evans this summer following a flurry of bets for the West Brom defender moving to the Foxes,” said Coral’s John Hill.
