Five tips ahead of the day’s action

It’s a cracking day of football on Saturday with a number of pivotal games across the UK and Europe.

There’s Premier League relegation battles, League One title deciders, and European spots to be settled in the Bundesliga.

The Coral News Team have put together a list of five acca tips that should see us home…

Rochdale to beat Charlton – 11/10

It’s the final round of games in League One and the scenario is simple for Rochdale – they need to win and hope Oldham Athletic drop points to survive.

Charlton Athletic stand in their way. But the Addicks have practically sealed their play-off place already. Lee Bowyer’s side are six points ahead of Plymouth Argyle with a +6 goal difference advantage.

Dale haven’t won at Roots Hall since beating Shrewsbury Town at the end of March. But Keith Hill’s side can put home advantage to good use and stay up.

Schalke to beat Augsburg – 23/20

Schalke are back in the big time, sealing their place in next season’s Champions League with two games to spare.

Domenico Tedesco’s talented young side won’t be resting on their laurels, however. The Gelsenkirchen outfit are currently second and should be good enough to take all three points at mid-table Augsburg.

Manuel Baum’s side have nothing but pride to play for. Schalke look good for maximum points.

Eintracht Frankfurt to beat Hamburg – 10/11

Eintracht had been going great guns and looked destined for a place in Europe after a superb campaign. But coach Niko Kovac’s appointment as new Bayern Munich manager for next season has derailed them.

But they could still make the European spots for next season and Kovac will want to go out on a high. Hamburg are second bottom and look like they could finally drop this season after struggling for a few seasons.

Christian Tiz’s side have won their last two but Eintracht should have too much quality at home for them.

Celta Vigo to beat Deportivo – 6/10

Deportivo La Coruna’s relegation was confirmed last week with defeat to Barcelona. They travel to Vigo today to face a Celta side with little to play for.

Motivation is low on both sides here but this is still a Galicia derby and pride is on the line. Celta have by far the better quality and with Iago Aspas in fine form, the home side should have enough in the tank for a win.

Blackburn to beat Oxford United – 4/11

The acca tips end on a solid pick with Blackburn Rovers looking to win the League One title.

Wigan currently lead the way, and Oxford are the visitors today, but surely the latter won’t stop Tony Mowbray’s side?

Ewood Park is reported to be a sell-out of over 32,000. Bradley Dack and co. will look to give the fans something to cheer about. And maybe even a title celebration, too.
