Four picks from the day’s main games

With the World Cup still a few weeks off, there’s a heavy reliance on the Scandinavian leagues for our acca picks.

However, there’s also some decent play-off action from France and Belgium, too. And the Coral News Team have delved into the stats and picked out the best bets of the day…

AC Ajaccio to beat Toulouse – 7/4

We begin in France as Ajaccio host their southern rivals Toulouse in the Ligue 1 promotion/relegation play-off first-leg.

The Ligue 2 hosts made it through to this stage with a win on penalties over Le Harve in the previous round. They also finished third in the second division.

Toulouse had a pretty awful campaign in the top-flight, finishing third bottom with one of the worst away records in the division. Ajaccio won 14 of their 19 home games. And with that winning feeling, could edge this.

Zulte-Waregem to beat Lokeren – 1/2

It’s off to Belgium as Zulte host Lokeren in the Europa League Play-Offs. The home side are heavy favourites. And with nine wins in a row, it’s understandable.

However, their visitors are also in decent form coming into this clash at the Regenboogstadion. But Zulte have won four of their previous head-to-heads and will be confident of another win here.

AIK Stockholm to beat Hacken – 2/1

Despite Hacken’s relatively decent start to the new Allsvenskan season, AIK are in much better form.

The Stockholm-based outfit are unbeaten in 10 league games, winning six and drawing four. They do have some injury concerns to deal with. But Rikard Norling’s side are notoriously difficult to break down.

And Hacken can tend to be flaky. AIK will be very dangerous on the counter and can win this in a low-scoring game.

Norrkoping to beat GIF Sundsvall – 1/2

Staying in the Allsvenskan, it’s third-place Norrkoping who host mid-table Sundsvall. This looks an exciting clash but the home side are heavy favourites.

Norrkoping are unbeaten in 10 games against Sundsvall. The away side have failed to net just once this term so far. But they will be without striker Chidi Dauda Omeje, and keeper Tommy Naurin for this clash.

That swings it in the favour Jens Gustafsson’s in-form team who have scored at least once in every game this season.
