Short previews of five acca tip selections

It’s another huge Sunday of football across both the UK and Europe with reputations at stake if results don’t go certain ways.

The Coral News Team delve into the fixtures and come up with five picks that should do the business.

Manchester United to beat Arsenal – 2/5

It’s not an over-elaborate selection but Man United really should be beating Arsenal at Old Trafford today.

Despite an incredulous defeat to West Bromwich Albion, Jose Mourinho’s side had only lost to Manchester City at home this term.

Arsenal are coming off a tough game in midweek against Atletico Madrid. Arsene Wenger will likely rest a number of key regulars ahead of the return leg in Madrid.

United should have too much for the Gunners here.

Atletico Madrid to beat Alaves – 27/20

There are few things that this Atletico side love more than a lower-table team with nothing to play for.

Diego Simeone’s outfit gobble up these sides and with Alaves safe from relegation, now’s the perfect time to rock up at Mendizorrotza Stadium.

Diego Costa was only on the bench for the 1-1 draw at Arsenal and could come back into the fold here. Simeone will make changes but has a number of quality back-up options.

RB Leipzig to beat Mainz 05 – 11/10

Both sides are in desperate need of the points for different reasons. Leipzig can still feasibly make the Champions League spots. And Mainz will be hopeful of avoiding the drop.

This one will come down to a number of variables but the greater quality lies with the away side.

Emil Forsberg is suspended for Leipzig but Naby Keita should return. Plus Kevin Kampl and Jean-Kevin Augustin vie for a place in midfield, too.

Ralph Hassenhutti’s side can nick a win on the road.

Celtic to beat Rangers – 4/7

There’s another Old Firm clash today with Celtic hosting arch-rivals Rangers at Parkhead.

The Hoops breezed past their Glasgow neighbours 4-0 in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park two weeks ago.

And Brendan Rodgers’ side gets to inflict further damage on Rangers again at Celtic Park. And they haven’t lost against the Ibrox club at home since 2010.

That’s unlikely to change here as Celtic chase a double treble-winning season.

Napoli to beat Fiorentina – 1/2

After a dramatic, late winner against Juventus last week, Napoli get the chance to put the squeeze on again with a win over Fiorentina.

Surely the Partenopei won’t let this slip now? Maurizio Sarri’s side are unbeaten on the road in Serie A since October 2016.

Plus the Viola have hit a bit of a rough patch in recent weeks, and, with nothing to play for here, Napoli are primed for a big win.
