Daily Acca Tips: Bayern Munich, FC Basel and Oldham feature
£5 on this five-fold could pay out £76.33
There’s a range of continental football on this Wednesday night. And the Coral News Team are back to give you their tips on the action.
Tonight’s five tips include everything from a Champions League pair, to League One action and a clash between two of Swiss football’s biggest names…
Der FCB are pretty much unstoppable on their own patch, and should comfortably see off a Sevilla side they beat 2-1 away in the first leg of their UCL tussle.
The Bundesliga side have won 12 of their last 13 home games, thrashing Borussia Dortmund 6-0 in their last one.
As for Sevilla, things aren’t going well on their travels. Los Rojiblancos’ last two away games saw a 2-1 loss at Leganes and a 4-0 defeat to mid-table Celta Vigo.
The Swiss giants have taken seven points from their last three league games, and should continue that good form against visitors FC Zurich.
Zurich have managed just five points from as many matches heading into this one – including a draw with rock-bottom Sion. In the Head-to-Head record, Basel are unbeaten in 11 against their midweek opponents, winning eight of those.
Oldham Athletic – Evens
In League One, 19th host 18th as Oldham face Walsall at Boundary Park. However, while these two are close in the table, Richie Wellens’ Latics are in much better form.
The Saddlers have lost six of their last eight league games, including a 3-0 home loss to lowly Rochdale. By contrast, Oldham have taken 15 points from their last nine matches, and beat Blackpool 2-1 in their last home match.
After a rocky first half of the season, Real Madrid are now playing at the height of their powers. Zinedine Zidane’s men have won 11 of their last 13 games in all competitions, scoring a hefty 40 goals in the process.
Three of those came in the 3-0 demolition of Juventus in Turin. And with the Old Lady’s Champions League hopes already crushed, they could well play a second-string in Madrid – with a battle for the Serie A title now the priority.
Whoever does make the Juve line up, it’s hard to see past another win for Real and their on-fire frontline.
There are two games in Norway’s top-flight on Wednesday – and one sees unbeaten Stromsgodset facing a Tromso side who’ve started the season poorly.
Stromsgodset have dominated the pair’s Head-to-Head record, with four wins and a draw in the last six meetings. That included a 6-0 win in Tromso in 2015. And whilst they’re unlikely to hit the hosts for six again, the visitors could well take all three points.
