Daily Acca Tips: Man United, Rotherham and Exeter make the cut
A £5 wager pays out over £120 if successful
Tuesday night sees two crucial Champions League ties – but that’s just the tip of the football action.
There are games ahead from the EFL, National League and a smattering of games across the continent.
The Coral News Team are back with five more sides who could help boost your acca this Tuesday…
Manchester United – 6/10
The Red Devils are in fine form at Old Trafford of late. Jose Mourinho’s men head into Wednesday’s meeting with Sevilla having won each of their last five at home, including victories over Chelsea and Liverpool.
Since the first leg, Los Rojiblancos have lost two of their four games – including a 5-2 mauling by Atletico Madrid. Add in the fact United’s last 12 home UCL games have included 10 wins and two draws, and victory for the North-West giants looks likely.
Rotherham United – Evens
The Millers may have suffered a narrow defeat on Saturday, but prior to that game they’d won seven on the trot. And they’re likely to get back on track as they visit relegation-threatened MK Dons.
The Buckinghamshire club haven’t won a single league game in 2018, picking up just three points from 10 matches. That stat is unlikely to improve against a Millers side who’ve won the last two meetings – including a 4-0 victory at Stadium:MK.
Exeter City – 11/10
Exeter face South-West rivals Yeovil Town on Tuesday night. But while the pair may be fairly close on the map, there’s a chasm between them in the League Two table.
The Glovers currently sit in 17th place, and the cause of their struggles has been a dire away record. Mark Cooper’s men have managed just 11 points from 17 games on the road. As for Exeter, they’re looking for a seventh win in 10 at St James’ Park.
Bari @ 11/10
Former Serie A regulars F.C. Bari are looking to win promotion back to the top-flight this term. And they’ll be looking to take another step in the right directions against Spezia.
The visitors sit five points below the hosts, having played a game more. And they’re out of form, to boot. Spezia have won just twice in their last nine matches. As for I Galletti, they’re eyeing up a fourth win from five.
Boreham Wood @ 4/5
The Wood have been the National League’s surprise package this term. Despite having the division’s smallest crowds, they’ve slayed one quality side after another. So mid-table visitors Maidenhead United are unlikely to cause too many problems.
The hosts are unbeaten in six games, winning four of those. And they’ve kept an incredible five clean sheets in the process. No doubt confidence will be high, especially against a Maidenhead side who were thrashed 7-1 at Gateshead on Saturday.
