He’s on course for his fifth world title

Lewis Hamilton leads the race to win the 2018 F1 Drivers Championship ahead of the new season, according to the latest Coral odds.

The Brit is the clear favourite at 6/5, leaving the likes of Max Verstappen (10/3), Sebastian Vettel (10/3) and Daniel Ricciardo (13/2) in the distance.

Hamilton now has four world titles and he’s also 8/1 to break Michael Schumacher’s record of seven.

“Hamilton is not only being heavily backed to defend his world title this year, punters are rushing in to back the British driver to break Michael Schumacher’s record of seven world championship victories before he retires from the sport,” said Coral’s John Hill.

The 2018 Championship gets underway in Australia next month.
