Chelsea ace Hazard now just 7/4 for Real Madrid switch this summer
Los Blancos firm favourites for Belgian’s signature
With reports ramping up of Real Madrid’s interest in Eden Hazard, the Belgian’s odds of a summer move to the Bernabeu have been cut by Coral.
Having previously been 5/2 to join Los Blancos, it’s now just 7/4 for the Chelsea ace to join the La Liga giants this summer.
That makes Zinedine Zidane by far the most likely manager to get his hands on Hazard in the next window. Manchester City are distant second-favourites at 12/1, with Barcelona 20/1 to beat Real to the 27-year-old’s signature.
Coral’s John Hill said: “Real Madrid continue to be linked with Eden Hazard and the betting suggests the Chelsea man could be one of the biggest transfers next summer if he decides he wants to leave Stamford Bridge for the Spanish giants.”
One man who could be making the opposite journey – from Madrid to London – is Karim Benzema.
As it stands, Arsenal are 5/1 favourites to sign the France international. But the Gunners could face some competition.
Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be keen on the three-time Ligue 1 winner, with 6/1 available for Benzema to join PSG.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United are dark horses in the battle for the 30-year-old, at 12/1 apiece.
