Reds forward is in top form

Super Sunday concludes with one of the Premier League’s newest rivalries as Southampton host Liverpool at St Mary’s.

The Reds could start with up to six former Saints players on the South Coast. Yet it’s Mohamed Salah who could make the difference for the visitors.

The Egyptian forward has bagged 28 goals in 35 games so far this season, including four in his last three matches. He netted twice against the Saints in November and should get plenty of joy once again against a leaky home defence.

Coral’s Bet of the Day is Mohamed Salah to Score Anytime at 11/10.

Goals galore

Both teams are in excellent form in-front of goal. Southampton have found the net in each of their last eight home matches dating back to early November. They won 3-2 at West Bromwich Albion last weekend to make it seven games in a row in which they’ve scored.

Liverpool’s marksmanship this season needs no introduction. The Reds have struck 59 times in 26 Premier League matches so far.

The visitors are a class above this afternoon’s hosts and look a handy price to prevail in the Liverpool to win and Both Teams to Score market at 9/4.

Reds to strike early

Southampton tend to be quite slow out of the blocks. They were behind against West Brom after four minutes and were trailing Brighton & Hove Albion at the 15 minute mark two weeks ago.

Against the Merseysiders, who like to assert their dominance early on, the Coral News Team are expecting that trend to continue. Liverpool to be Ahead after 15-minutes is 17/4, while it’s 21/10 that they’re in-front by the half-hour mark.
