Bet of the Day: Bristol City offer value to win away at Bolton

It’s Friday night football in the Championship

The weekend is almost here and the football gets underway with some Friday night Championship action.

Bolton Wanderers host Bristol City, with both sides eagerly chasing three points for vastly differing reasons.

The Trotters are trying to avoid slipping back into League One, while the Robins are bidding to make their Premier League debut.

After a wobbly few weeks which threatened to derail their promotion hopes, City have collected four points from their last two games, keeping clean sheets in both.

So despite Bolton’s recent revival, Coral’s Bet of the Day is Bristol City to win @ 21/20.

Robins flying on the road

Aside from a 5-0 trouncing by the rapidly improving Aston Villa, City have been excellent away from Ashton Gate this season.

From 14 fixtures they’ve lost just twice. Tellingly though, nine of those games have seen over 2.5 goals.

Coral are an appealing 5/2 on City to win and over 2.5 goals.

Much-changed Wanderers

Bolton made a heap of signings on Deadline Day, including a couple of savvy defensive arrivals.

But Gary Madine has gone to Cardiff City and with it goes Bolton’s main goal threat.

And it will take time for Bolton’s new arrivals to settle in. Tonight’s game could come too soon and that could allow City to start brightly.

Lee Johnson’s men are 12/5 on the Half-Time/Full-Time, while they’re 9/5 to win the first half.

Big match previews, betting tips and transfer news – Coral have it all.
