Simeone’s men visit a patchy FC Copenhagen
After a surprise Champions League Group Stage exit, Atletico Madrid begin their Europa League quest away to FC Copenhagen on Thursday night.
Diego Simeone’s side are in strong form ahead of their visit to Denmark. Los Colchoneros have won each of their last three games without conceding a goal.
They currently boast La Liga’s strongest defence, having conceded just nine times in 23 games. And 15 of the Madrid club’s last 16 wins have been accompanied by a clean sheet.

As for Atletico, they’ve won nine games this season by a margin of two or more goals, including the recent 3-0 rout of Las Palmas. And Simeone’s charges have also outscored the opposition in five outings this term.
