Tottenham and Nice amongst the picks

It truly is a Super Sunday this weekend, with huge games across the Premier League, Bundesliga and beyond…

The Coral News Team have studied the stats and produced a five-fold which takes in four of Europe’s biggest leagues.

If it comes in, a £5 stake on this accumulator would pay out a tidy £150.38. Odds correct at time of writing.

Nice to beat Saint-Etienne

The visitors have taken a single point from their last seven away games, and now find themselves in a Ligue 1 relegation battle ahead of Sunday’s trip to OGC Nice.

By contrast, Les Aiglons are in fine form. They’ve won four of their last five home games in the division, keeping three clean sheets along the way.

Lucien Favre’s men have claimed victory in their last two home meetings against Saint-Etienne, and Nice to Win this one is a 4/7 shot.

Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur: Spurs -1

When Tottenham win, they usually do so with room to spare. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have enjoyed victory in eight of their last 10 games, and all of those successes have come by a margin of two goals or more.

Their hosts Southampton are really struggling at present. Saints are winless in 10 Prem matches. That run included a 5-2 mauling away at Spurs, and a 4-1 home loss to Leicester City. The Tottenham -1 handicap looks well-priced at 7/4.

Real Madrid v Deportivo La Coruna: Depor +3

These are unfamiliar times for Real fans. The European giants have won just twice in seven league games, managing a solitary point in the last three.

They host a Depor side with plenty to play for. While they’re not in great form themselves, Cristobal Parralo’s men did earn a point at Villarreal in their last away game.

Despite their history of putting sides to the sword, Los Blancos have only won three of their last 17 league games by three or more goals. The Coral News Team are on board with the Deportivo +3 handicap at 20/23.

Double Chance: Celta Vigo or Draw (v. Real Sociedad)

After a bright start to the season, the wheels have come off for Sociedad. They’ve managed a single win in eight La Liga games. They’ve also lost four of five at home in all competitions.

They host a Celticos side enjoying something of a purple patch. Seven points from three games – including a draw with Real Madrid – have propelled them up to mid-table.

With visitors’ striker Iago Aspas also in fine form, they’re likely to cause Sociedad some real problems. Double Chance: Celta or Draw looks a safe addition at 10/11.

Bayern Munich to Win Both Halves (v. Werder Bremen)

Bremen currently sit just one point above the automatic relegation spots in the Bundesliga. And things are unlikely to improve for a side who’ve lost 16 consecutive meetings with Bayern.

The German champions have tended to dominate either side of the break against this opposition, outscoring Die Werderaner in both halves during five of the last seven Head-to-Heads.

Der FCB go into this game having won eight successive home games across all competitions, scoring 22 times and conceding just three. Bayern to Win Both Halves is a 19/20 shot.
