Could Baggies hitman be off to Merseyside?

Liverpool fans have already seen big changes to their squad in this window, with the high-profile exit of Philippe Coutinho and the big-money capture of Virgil van Dijk.

However, while both of those moves were expected, one potential arrival has come out of the blue, with Solomon Rondon now linked with the Anfield club.

Liverpool have been cut from 20/1 to 8/1 to secure a move for the Venezuelan before the January window shuts – making them his most likely buyers.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Reports broke last night that Rondon is a target for Klopp and Liverpool and off the back of that news we’ve taken a flurry of bets. Punters seem to think the surprise move could become reality,”

However, Jurgen Klopp isn’t the only boss with an outside chance of securing the 28-year-old’s signature in the coming days.

Merseyside rivals Everton and David Moyes’ West Ham United are both 12/1 to sign the striker before the deadline.

Having featured in the Champions League proper, a Copa America semi-final and netted crucial goals in the Premier League and La Liga, he could be an excellent capture for any of the clubs interested.
