Giroud cut to 2/1 for Dortmund; Aubameyang 1/4 for Arsenal
It could be all change at the Emirates
The latest odds from Coral’s trading floor suggest Olivier Giroud could be set to leave Arsenal for Borussia Dortmund in the coming days.
The Frenchman has struggled for game-time this term, starting just a single Premier League game to date. And odds of a move to BVB this month have been cut from 7/2 to 2/1, with a departure from the Emirates Stadium looking increasing likely.
However, it seems that whatever Giroud’s future, an arrival from Dortmund is all-but-certain in North London.
The Gunners are just 1/4 to complete a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before the window slams shut.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Whilst Aubameyang looks likely to move to Arsenal the rumours of Giroud going the other way are getting stronger and we’ve see a flurry of bets today.”
The news isn ‘t so good for their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have been leapfrogged in the race to sign Lucas Moura, with Real Betis having been cut from 16/1 outsiders to 6/4 favourites to snap up the Paris Saint-Germain ace.
