Taylor faces rookie Rob Cross in the PDC World Championships final

It may be the first day of 2018, but today also brings the close of a spectacular PDC World Darts Championships.

There’s been some sensational darts at Ally Pally, none more so than Rob Cross’ incredible semi-final win over Michael van Gerwen.

Cross wasn’t even a professional at the start of 2017. But he’ll begin 2018 by facing Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor for the chance to be crowned World Champion.

It would be an unforgettable story if Cross triumphed. But Taylor’s experience should give him the edge. He could lift a record 17th World Championship title in the last event of his historic career.

Taylor has only dropped five sets throughout this year’s event. Cross has dropped 13.

And today’s Coral Bet of the Day is Taylor on the -1.5 Set Handicap at 6/5.

180!

Taylor is understandably the 5/6 favourite to win but Cross looks set to throw the most 180s.

The rookie has thrown 55 180s over the last fortnight, more than double Taylor’s tally of 26.

Cross is 1/5 on to fire the most 180s in their final showdown.

Big Finish?

Taylor has seen it all throughout his long career. And in his last match, he could go out in style.

You can get Taylor to hit 12+ 180s, checkout 137+ & win the match at 9/2.
