Juve continuing to dominate Turin derby

The Turin derby returns on Wednesday night, as Juventus host Torino in a Coppa Italia quarter-final tie.

The pair’s Head-to-Head record greatly favours Juve. The Old Lady have won four of the last five meetings, with each of those wins coming by a multiple-goal margin.

September’s meeting finished 4-0 to Massimiliano Allegri’s side. That heavy loss highlighted a pattern for Torino. Ten of their last 13 defeats have come by two goals or more.

Heading into this game, Juve have won four games on the trot, scoring nine goals and conceding just one. Coral’s Bet of the Day is Juventus -1 at 21/20.

Hosts to be strong in both halves

In recent seasons, Juve haven’t just beaten Torino consistently – they’ve dominated most Turin derbies from start to finish.

The Old Lady have scored either side of half-time in five of the previous six clashes. In two of those matches, they’ve managed a pair of goals either side of the interval.

As for Il Toro, they’ve shipped seven times in five games – four goals before the break, and three after. That means Juventus to Score in Both Halves looks good value at 23/20. The ambitious can also back Juve to Win Both Halves at 11/5.

Argentine ace to finish the scoring

Juve hitman Paulo Dybala was back to his lethal best on Saturday, scoring twice against Hellas Verona.

Once again, he was the last name on the scoresheet. A real impact-maker in the latter stages of games, the Argentina international has now closed out the scoring in six games this term.

That included the 4-0 victory over Torino. They’re a side the 24-year-old already boasts four career goals against.

The prolific striker is 3/4 to Score Anytime. However, the Coral News Team prefer the look of Dybala to be Last Goalscorer at odds of 12/5.
